Content License

You keep all ownership of the descriptions you write and the photos of rocks or sites you upload. By submitting them you grant ARA GEOSERVICES LTD a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to generate your requested output and to operate and secure the service.

Uploaded photos are cached for up to 30 days so you can re-generate, then deleted. We do not use your inputs, uploads or outputs to train machine-learning models. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Identifications, formation stories, specimen cards, cross-sections, posters and animation briefs generated for you may be used for personal, educational and classroom purposes, and by creators in their own content. Paid-tier outputs may be used commercially by the subscriber who generated them.

Outputs are educational and illustrative. They must not be presented as professional geological certification, used to appraise or trade specimens, or used for engineering, foundation or prospecting decisions. Do not upload content you have no right to use.
